Renovation on Line 6, temporary closure of Bir Hakeim station. See all the essential information for getting to the Eiffel Tower.

From October 30, 2023, through February 4, 2024 inclusive, access to the Tower will be disrupted due to the closure of the Bir Hakeim metro station for renovation and modernization work. During this period, trains will continue to run, but will not stop at this station. Connections to RER C platforms will not be available.

Advice for getting to the Tower:

There are several alternatives.

Lines 9, 8 and 6 will remain in operation throughout the work. You can get to the Eiffel Tower by getting off at Passy or Dupleix on line 6 or by walking from Trocadéro station on line 9 or Ecole Militaire station on line 8.

Bus lines 82, 30 and 42 stop just a short distance from the Eiffel Tower.

The Batobus stops just a few minutes from the Tower, offering the opportunity to stroll along the Seine and enjoy a superb view of the Tower.

If you prefer to travel by car, there are plenty of parking lots nearby, such as Quai Branly Tour Eiffel and Pullman Tour Eiffel.
