The magic of Christmas has come to the first floor of the Eiffel Tower.

This year, our first-floor winter terrace is on the theme of Christmas markets. Come and discover the magical atmosphere amid the pine trees and stroll between a dozen themed booths, where plenty of surprises await our visitors!

Whether it’s to grab a bite to eat, warm yourself with a hot drink, round off your Christmas shopping or take the kids to a craft workshop, you’ll find all you need on our winter terrace, decked out specially for the holiday season!

Long-awaited sweets and savory treats

In this festive atmosphere, the Eiffel Tower’s Christmas market offers plenty to warm up and treat yourself with typical holiday season food and beverages to take away. Indulge yourself after an exhilarating visit of the Tower with the gourmet selection on the winter terrace, including buckwheat galettes, crepes, and waffles. For drinks, choose from mulled wine, hot chocolate, Irish coffee, teas and coffees, etc.

A plethora of gift ideas

For our visitors, the holiday market on the first-floor terrace is the perfect place to combine a visit with preparation for the Yuletide festivities. A range of local gourmet produce is available to bring that special touch to your holiday meals: Eclimont trout rillettes, chestnut honey from La Ferme des Clos, watercress pesto from Cressonnière de la Villa Paul… These high-quality eats, typical of French gastronomy, are all produced by the Eiffel Tower’s Guild of Artisans, composed of local artisans chosen for their know-how by a jury led by Chef Thierry Marx, who spearheads the restaurant on the first floor of the Eiffel Tower, Madame Brasserie.

If you’re looking for gift ideas, it’s also the perfect opportunity to pick up something special for your loved ones, whether family or friends, whatever their age! One of the booths offers a range of exclusive official Eiffel Tower merchandise, from the legendary snow globe to totes and stationary. Also on the first floor and in all the monument’s shops you will find the very exclusive “Noël à Paris” tea, crafted in partnership with Damman Frères and sold in an elegant bauble containing 10 tea bags. A must-have to tuck under the tree!

Come and meet Santa Claus

Like every year, Santa Claus will be stopping by on the first floor of the Eiffel Tower to the delight of both young and old! Don’t miss the opportunity to get a photo with him in front of the photocall installed specially for the occasion.

Come and see Santa Claus at the following times:

- December 16 and 17, from 10am to 8pm
- from December 20 through 24, from 10am to 6pm and from 10am to 8pm at the weekend.

Kids’ activities

Kids won’t want to miss the booths offering children’s activities! Spice bread decoration workshops are held several times a day for creative kids with a sweet tooth.* And to bring smiles and laughter to the whole family, the distorting mirror booth will have everyone amused!

* Registration on site, subject to availability (€10 per child)
